In the Stock Talk series, we look at and analyze different types of stocks and stipulate as to their value as an investor. We look at case studies, histories and speculate about their futures. And we do it all from the lens of educated, objective investors.

This time, we'll take a look at food and agriculture stocks. Farms, fruits, vegetables, meat etc. These are huge businesses that will never go away but what are they like as stocks to an investor? Would now be an ideal time to invest in them given our current circumstances? Which companies are worth your money? Which aren't? Why? And what about weeks, months and years down the line? Let's speculate together!

A few weeks ago, we talked about consumer staples which include iPhones, Coca Cola and milk. This time, we'll get even more specific and talk about the one staple that everybody needs and the one they stock up in desperate times. Let's go deep, into agriculture and food stocks!
